國外財經網站Business Insider引述市場調查研究機構Canaccord Genuity分析師華克里（MichaelWalkley）研究資料指出，去年第4季，蘋果囊括全球智慧型手機產業獲利比重高達92%。
報導引述指出，三星（Samsung）去年第4季銷售9000萬支手機，其中7750萬支是智慧型手機，1250萬支是較舊的功能型手機。
報導指出，三星去年第4季手機平均銷售價格（ASP）約182美元，蘋果iPhone的平均銷售價格達695美元。
蘋果去年第4季iPhone銷售量達7829萬支，當季iPhone銷售量和營收較上一年同期成長5%，當季Phone銷售量和營收創歷史單季新高，iPhone營收占蘋果當季營收比重達69.4%。
蘋果執行長庫克（Tim Cook）表示，iPhone 7與iPhone 7 Plus市場需求非常強勁，特別是iPhone 7Plus是最受歡迎的Plus機種。1060208
